On the occasion of the 3rd SaturnArs Biennial,
the Kunst Grenzen - Arte di frontiera aps cultural association is organizing an exhibition
of modern and contemporary art, including painting, graphic design, photography, and digital printing,
from October 1st to 30th, 2026.
Following the success of previous editions, the Kunst Grenzen - Arte di frontiera aps Cultural Association, at its headquarters and showroom and in its affiliated venues, offers all artists who request it, at local, regional, national and international levels, the 3rd Food and Wine Biennial of the Arts:
SaturnArs 2026
The SaturnArs project aims to initiate, together with a specially created staff, biennial events between wineries, exchanges artistic, twinning, etc., allowing for a continuous and increasingly intense direct exchange between the various entities operating along the road that connects the city of Augsburg in Germany, passing through Austria and the Resia Pass, to Altino (Venice) on one side and Ostiglia (Mantua) on the other, known as the "Via Claudia Augusta."
After the traditional grape harvests, artists and wineries will gather for an exhibition featuring selected works with their respective graphics developed in "artist labels" format applied to the bottles of the finest vintage wines provided by participating wineries.
For the 2026 edition, SaturnArs will also ask artists to interpret one of the wines proposed for the event: this edition will feature the important Pinot Grigio and Schiava grape varieties.
Each work will be paired with its corresponding bottle.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EXHIBITION

- EXHIBITION REGISTRATION:
For organizational reasons, registration for the exhibition must be completed no later than May 15, 2026, by email toThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
by completing the Exhibition Registration Form below (click on "Exhibition Registration Form") and submitting it duly signed and complete with all required information.
A maximum of two works per participating artist may be created using any technique, including painting, graphic design, photography, and digital printing.
The following must be attached to the form:
- A high-resolution passport photo of the artist (at least 300 dpi) for possible brochure printing;
- Image(s) of the work(s) (up to 2) you wish to submit for the event in high-resolution .jpg format (at least 300 dpi), indicating the category of the wine you wish to represent (Pinot Grigio or Schiava). - TECHNIQUES AND DIMENSIONS:
The technique is free.
The following are the maximum dimensions for each work to best organize the exhibition space:
- Painting (maximum base 50 x h 70 cm approx.);
- Engraving (maximum base 50 x h 70 cm approx.);

- ARTWORK SELECTION:
Each participating artist will receive confirmation of their selection by email by May 15th for participation in the exhibition. Selection will be subject to the number of bottles of wine provided by the wineries participating in the 2026 edition of the SaturnArs biennial.
Following confirmation, payment of the participation fee of €20 (twenty) will be required according to the methods described. - PARTICIPATION FEE:
Upon submission of the works, a contribution of €20.00 (twenty) will be requested for each artist. This contribution will partially cover the costs of the event. This contribution must be paid to:

- AWARDS:
The Food and Wine Biennial of the Arts around the Via Claudia Augusta will also award a SATURNARS Prize for the 2026 edition. The prize will be awarded to the best selected wine in the exhibition, paired with the best label among those created to represent the wines on display.
• The top three works for each category of wines represented will receive an award to be determined.
• The top three wineries in each category may, upon request, acquire the image rights for the label.
• The three original works of art that gave rise to the winning labels may be purchased separately by the participating wineries at a price agreed upon with the artist.
• A print dedicated to the participating wineries and artists will be awarded at the end of the event as a certificate of participation. - SERVICES OFFERED:
• Set-up, continuous professional security throughout the exhibition hours and duration, and dismantling of the exhibition.
NB: At the end of the event, works must be collected within two months (60 days) of the final closing of the exhibition, or after the awards ceremony has been presented to the artists (and/or after the awards ceremony). Uncollected works will become part of the gallery's collection.
• Poster and/or paper or virtual catalog with the list of participants in the exhibition, including the name, photo, and information about the participating work, as per the submitted Registration Form.
• Advertising of the works on the official Kunst Grenzen channel (https://www.kunst-grenzen.it) and through major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok;
• Contact with journalists and collectors.
• Photoshoot at the opening.
• Toast with the artists.
In the event that the exhibition cannot be held due to events beyond our control, it will be presented via a 3D web space pending re-admission to the calendar with a new date.
N.B. The Organizer reserves the right to establish further rules and regulations deemed appropriate to better manage the events and related services. By submitting images of works for selection, you accept these regulations and constitute, on the part of the artist, authorization for the Kunst Grenzen Cultural Association to store and process the personal data provided in its archives and to publish it by any means.
